My entrepreneurial journey began with a passion for acting. I pursued acting all the way to university, but while working in an office job, I realised that my career depended heavily on others. This dependency made me question whether I truly wanted to continue down the acting path. Around the same time, I discovered my love for photography and decided it was the perfect moment to explore this new passion.

I enrolled in an online photography course, which was highly technical and provided me with a solid understanding of how a camera works. This technical knowledge became the foundation of my skills. My first significant opportunity came when I was photographing a music performance. I struck up a conversation with a gentleman who owned a shop in Brick Lane. He asked me to do some product photography for him, which was a pivotal moment in my journey.

Shortly after, I met someone who aspired to be a socialite. He invited me to follow him around during fashion week to capture his moments on the front rows of runway shows. This experience was exhilarating and marked the true beginning of my photography career. From that point on, my journey in photography took off, leading me to specialise in brand and content, still life, and live performances. This is how RUBY LDN was born, and I couldn’t be more excited about the path ahead.

In 2020, I exhibited in an Exhibition called ‘We Are Here’ which was a great success and had coverage from the BBC, The Guardian and local media in the Midlands.

I was also a photography consultant for Channel 4’s female-led drama anthology series ‘I Am…Danielle’ .
